NOTE: This information must go beyond the meta-data (description on the back cover) – the bookstores already have that information. Your description can include pictures, illustrations, endorsements, awards, or a part of the book (your best paragraph, excerpt from the Foreword, or Preface, etc.), to lock them in and make them want to sell your book.
Keep in mind that this information will be presented to bookstore buyers – the more interesting and complete your description is, the easier it is for them to make a decision to carry your book.
